Creating a Doras Account

So you have a X account, a Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and Instagram and your wondering how do I just post one link for people to find every social platform I'm on? 

Hi, pleasure to meet you, we are Doras and we can help with that.

So your probably wondering what to do next right?

Well in this handy dandy guide I've got for you, I will show you exactly how to go about starting to create a one of kind, beautifully snazzy looking 'Link in bio' platform.

Firstly you want to head on over to Doras.to, and look at that if your reading this your already here! 
First things first, keep in mind this step is extremely hard, you want to click Get Started. It can be found at the top of the page, highlighted in red. -Or so I don't lose my job here, 'Indian red Hex value CD514C, which is MOSTLY red ;) -

 

After that you will be transported to the magical world of a create account page as seen in the perfectly screenshotted image below.

So for this guide we will be signing up via email, although other options are available subject to change.
So make sure its on signup tab.

Then create a wonderful username, this could be your brand, your name, or even the name of your cat if you wish! The possibilities truly are endless.
Then you want to put your pretty email address in the box marked email, then create a password.
Make it a strong one, but not one that you will forget in two seconds if your like me.

Once you have done these things, and you have retyped your password (hope you didn't forget it yet.) Accept the terms and conditions, no we don't ask for your soul, or your cookies just your wonderful presence. Then your good to go, Click login and you are one step closer to opening the doorway to your content. Though you will have accept the verification email that will be sent to the mailbox you signed up with.

You will then be greeted by this wonderful page.

 The mobile picture at the side even shows what your profile would look like if viewed on a mobile device!
So we want to start by putting our first Link block in place. That can be done by clicking either the Pages and Blocks button highlighted with the red arrow, or by clicking the 'Add some links to your profile highlighted with the green arrow- I know snazzy photoshop skills right?

This is the screen you will be confronted with. Clicking the add Block button will allow you to add a multitude of things. For all the rest of the wonderful things you can do check out This link.

For right now lets keep it simple and add a link.
So clicky clack the Add Block button- conveniently highlighted in red for your viewing pleasure- and a box will appear like the image below, you want to select 'Link Block'

 Then you get this screen.

 Here you can title your link, add the actual link in the url box and even give it a custom icon by clicking the image box.

 Here you can search all the icons available including most social media platforms, for this we will be using a YouTube icon.

So say you would like people to be directed to your YouTube! It will look like the picture below, obviously this will have your link name and address not mine, but you know shameless plug....... although if you would like to promote me I am more than happy for you to lol.

 
Now what is that red arrow there you ask? oh you didn't.......well that is how you can customize the Colour of the link. 

Look at all them wonderful colours! Your colour isn't there you say? Well clicking the artist palette button will allow you to change the colour to any you dream of. 
I'm going to use a pleasant purple here. You can drag the slider along till you find that beautiful shade, or if you more up on the tech, you can put in the Hex code and get that directly personalised colour just the way you want it.

 
After that your link will look all snazzy like this.

Clicking the back arrow or the Home button will save this button to your profile!
Then just repeat the above steps for all your social media profiles and platforms
After that it will look something like this.

 Of course yours can look however you wish, be as creative as you like.

After we have done this we want to add a nice profile picture, remember pick your best angle.......ok maybe the other angle lol.
So head over to Customization tab, shown below.

 Once here you will be able to Customize your profile to suit your individual spirit and we can add that smexxy picture!
 
Clicking the person in the circle and upload that image.

click upload and your done!
 
You can also write a bio about yourself if you so choose and change the shape of the image as well. I chose a squircle because.....well it made me giggle, and i also like squircles!

 
 Then you can look at the theme of your link page, click on any of the themes and check them out, as the preview updates in real time. (we had a wizard from some famous magic school work out how to do that for us.)

I choose peachy because that's what I definitely am.....not.
Then your sexy profile will look like this!

 
That is the desktop view, looks amazing doesn't it?

With that you have started on the basics of creating your account, woohoo, go you. Very proud of you.
